From one year to another, Warsaw Home is gaining more and more interest, not only in Poland, but also in Central and Eastern Europe – all thanks to Kasia Ptak, who is the originator and CEO of the Warsaw Home Fair. Her inspiration was “the strength of Polish furniture” – “You praise someone else`s , you do not know your own. You do not know what you have… ” perfectly summarizes the idea behind this undertaking. The slogan of the third edition was “STRENGTH”, which builds and allows to cross borders. We used this opportunity to get some inspiration for office, hotel and retail design projects.
We started with “Selected design”, where we could see, among others, the work of Oskar Zięta or the collaboration of Rosenthal and Versace. Several stands in particular caught our attention and it was impossible to pass them by indifferently – because of the products, and often because of the product presentation.
Further, we could see exhibitions of students` work from Academy of Fine Arts from Cracow, Wroclaw and Warsaw – in the field of architecture, furniture and fashion. The part dedicated to the kitchen and dining room attracted not only with interesting solutions, but also with live cooking shows.
To visit Warsaw Home fair trade encouraged, not only the number and variety of exhibitors, but also lectures. We were able to listen, among others, lecture by Mac Stopa, talking about his modular projects; Nika Zupanc, who pulled us into the world of product design; or Eero Koivisto, who talked in details about his projects of Scandinavian hotels.
We have captured everything in the pictures – we invite you to watch Warsaw Home with “our eyes”.
